Yes it is: <http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/> That said, unless you need 
maximal performance, a virtual machine is vastly preferable, since you're not 
rebooting all the time.

Actually if you have a copy of Windows to install I've been very happy using 
VirtualBox: <http://www.virtualbox.org> No need to pay for parallels.

Otherwise I've used all three major virtualization environments: 
Virtualbox,VMWare Fusion and Parallels, and like them in that order.

No great objection to Parallels, just marginally less better than the other 
two. This has possibly changed with newer versions; I've not messed with either 
Parallels or Fusion in well over a year.
