Actually if you have a copy of Windows to install I've been very happy using VirtualBox: <http://www.virtualbox.org> No need to pay for parallels. Otherwise I've used all three major virtualization environments: Virtualbox,VMWare Fusion and Parallels, and like them in that order. No great objection to Parallels, just marginally less better than the other two.
