Beware, flash drives have two drawbacks:

- Their speed are slower than HDs. But if the backup is once in a while,
that could be fine.

- They are way less reliable than HDs. Again, that could be fine for
somebody, but I wouldn't feel good knowing that my backup could become
corrupted anytime.
IMO, that risk is not worth for a handful of dollars saved. Backup are for
safety and peace of mind, an unsafe back is no real backup.
