Yes, I am using 10.6.8 and adblocker pro blocked all but one pop-up, but I can
live with that. I was already using adblock, but it just was not quite enough.
Thanks for the helpFred

I am running Leopard 10.6.8 and am having annoying pop-up ads. Is there an
application for 10.6.8 running Google Chrome to fix this? ThanksFred

Hi Fred,
You are actually running Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
If you’re using Chrome, go to the Chrome web Store and download the extension
Adblock Plus from adblockplus.org <http://adblockplus.org/>. It’s about the
best ad blocker there is.

And if you're using Firefox instead, you can use either AdBlockPlus or
uBlock Origin.
Personally, I used ABP for a while, but then I switched to UBO because I had
problems with the former, besides UBO seems less resource-hungry and it's
Open Source (always a plus in my book).
