New to I-Mail as well as enterprise level dns mgr.
Anyway....host mail server (mail.domain.com) has ip xxx.xxx.xxx.21, while
virtual server for same has different ip (same range). Anyway to change this
or doesn't matter?
We are a web site hosting service, and provide our clients with e-mail also.
Mail and primary DNS server on same machine.
So, for example www.domain2.com will receive e-mail from virtual server
mail.domain2.com, with own ip address. my question here..(pardon my
ignorance) does their virtual mail server need it's own ZONE in dns mgr, or
just records(A,MX etc) under domain2.com? Thanks for your help here..we are
using PMail/NDS now but migrating to homogenous NT....Joe
