Hi All,

FYI: Igo from support asked for a copy of my MDB, sent and
it duly returned with the note that he had added the field
TYPE which was required to function not added by my version
(5.00) but added by later versions.

Now, I have only run version 5.0 and it was created with this.
Yes, I can now add and modify records outside of iadmin
However I still had the same problem when it comes to adding
something the main table as an extra field, with all imail
services switched off something still had hold of it! I
found it though, using Taskmanger I inspected processes and
much to my surprise there were two (yes two) instances of
iadmin still running although nothing on the screen, shut
these down and I was able to edit the table. Surley this is
not right ...........

OK, so I need to update my version of Imail, I downloaded
all the patches but when I go to upgrade to 504 I get:

 Patch error:
Old file not found (behind on the update bar it was
reporting iamdin.exe), however, a file of the same name was
found. No update done since file contents do not match.
 It then aborts.

I tried renaming iadmin.exe to something else and got
another patch error:

 Old file does not exist

I am stuck in a loop, OK maybe if I install each patch in
numerical order ie 5.01 over 5.00, 5.02 over 5.01 etc this
problem with come out in the wash, no such luck, installing
the 5.01 patch I get exactly the same messages however it is
the file adduser.exe ........

I am loosing patients now, sorry, but things are looking
pretty buggy, any suggestions .............. I am beginning
to wonder if IMail is the commercial application I was
expecting from the documentation
