Yes, DUN is screwed up in that it will only check the secondary if
it can not contact the primary. I have had this if I simply shut down
the DNS service it still will not roll to the secondary because it does
receive a response of some kind from the server.
You will definitely need to get your DNS working or have your
clients switch. Are you providing the dial up service for them also?
We do this in our Max products by setting the DNS there and having
the client set their DUN to server assigned DNS. This way I can
make changes without having to tell a couple of thousand folks how
to change their DNS settings.

my clients are now having trouble going to web sites...errors such as
"cannnot find abc.com" are common.. In their dial up networking settings,
they have me as primary dns (which isnt working) and pbi as secondary which
is working.. because I am primary, is that causing problems????
