_Appears_ to be the same as what happens when hi-bit
characters hit imail1 (sends mail for web messaging) in
5.03/4. Fixed in 5.05. Happens with cutting/pasting from Word,
entering hi-bit chars directly, or when using an older browser
on a Mac.

>Interesting... the customer in question *swears* that she wasn't
'cut-n-pasting' the message -- she claimed to be typing directly into the
webmessaging interface when this happens... I suspected the same thing too
-- special (unsupported) characters in the message would certainly cause
problems in the translation...
Anyone else have any thoughts? What would cause it to happen if indeed she
was typing directly into the webmessaging interface?
Thanks!

This happened to me too. The other day I wrote a long message
in word and then just cut and paste it into webmail (after I
spellchecked) well it didn't go through it was cryptic. Parts
there, Parts not. Like letters from words missing and words running
together and all.
So what did I do? I cut and pasted it from word into PFE (Programmers
file editor .. just a text editor) and then cut and pasted it back
into webmail and worked.
Imail Version 5.04.
Clueless,
Jess

Sorry to bother everyone, but I'm at a complete loss for this one...
A customer of ours is using WebMessaging on our IMail (now v5.04) server...
When they send a message, and the intended recipient reads the message,
the message has been "chopped up" and "truncated" in parts -- not a case
where the top-half is missing, or it is missing the signature, but a truly
weird case, where parts of the content is actually missing...
Here is a sample signature as "forwarded" to me (the truncated one is
followed by a legit one):

Does this look familiar to anyone? Please?
Thanks,
