YES, It's the MX record that determines which machine handles the mail.

You can use a single IP for the Imail server and have virtual IPless
domains for each. The users would need to login as [EMAIL PROTECTED]
be advised some systems like NS don't like the "@"; so subsitute another
symbol like "%".

This way you will not "waste" an IP on each domain.
