I noticed a similar quirk AFTER using web messaging.  Over
the 4th of July weekend, I used web messaging several times
to access my mail from home.  When I came into work and
retrieved the messages via Outlook '98, they showed up in my
mailbox in what appeared to be no particular order (and I
believe at least some of them were displaying inaccurate
date/time information).

I hadn't ever noticed this before.
