Have you seen WebEdge for Post.Office? That would be something to shoot for.
Although, I did notice in their tour that it looked a little like the IMail

Are there any plans to update the web messaging browser interface to make it
less lame?  I have seen several other web messaging systems, and they look
MUCH better than the current Imail 5.05 web messaging.
