I'm sorry to post again my question, I believe somebody has has the same
doubts as me.

actually I'm using Imail 5.05 with an internal user DB. this email serve
about 300 virtual domains and 4000 user accounts.

we are evaluating the idea of using an external db but we don't know how the
server behaves. will performance fall down?
what about using the access DB on the same pc on which the server runs?

what about integration between a radius db and the mail server db?

acually the server is a Pentium Pro 300 with 128Mbyte of ram 3x4.3Gb HD
(raid 5) and it works smootly serving all the requests shortly.

does anybody have experience in conversion and performance?

thanks in advance.
