Don,

The message was not directly addressed to you! I was also trying to get a more
correct response and data to/from Tipp! And say that there _are_ answers,
especially if the right questions are asked. His message had NO data about the
situation and I was trying to spark the right tone to getting a
solution.

Anyway, Don, I do understand that you are having trouble with the Web
Messaging and we have not been able to find out its cause. Maybe if you could
provide some answers to these questions:

No Dr Watson error or event in the event log when the service 'stopped'? Is
the Service state shown correctly in Web Messaging Manager? Can you start it
from there (always)?

Are you monitoring the service with IMonitor? What happens if you don't
monitor it? You may be able to monitor it and restart the service, if it is
non-responsive.

Do you have the Web MSG set to 'Ignore source Address...' (for AOL users)?
What about the 'machine.domain.name' and 'domain.name' question?

Are you using modified web pages?
