The
boot partition can actually be any size as long as the last (virtual) cylinder
of the drive is under 1024 (Due to a limitation in the PC BIOS) Most modern IDE
& SCSI controllers handle this OK.
If you
want a boot partition bigger than 4GB (Not quite sure why you would !) you need
to create the partition on another machine running NT prior to the
installation.
