Try putting this in your hosts record on your Imail machine.

7springs.com 12.17.1.68

Then go to the Control Panel/Imail/Queue and try to send
the message again. Then check the logs to see what it shows
for attempted delivery.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Queue not sending

Had gotten no response since yesterday, so I'm trying again :)

  I have a user that is having a problem sending mail to a particular
friend. I've been checking the logs to see if I can find out why, but it
seems that IMail isn't even attempting to send it. It gets put into the
queue, but I can't find any evidence that IMail made any attempts to
contact the recipient's server.
  Here's the initial receipt from my user;
07:27 18:40 SMTPD(076F0244) [204.171.31.164] HELO xxxx
07:27 18:40 SMTPD(076F0244) [204.171.31.164] MAIL FROM: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
07:27 18:40 SMTPD(076F0244) [204.171.31.164] RCPT TO: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
07:27 18:40 SMTPD(076F0244) [204.171.31.164] E:\IMAIL\spool\D3543244.SMD
1989
07:27 18:40 SMTP-(000000CE) processing E:\IMAIL\spool\Q3543244.SMD
07:27 18:40 SMTP-(000000CE) requeuing E:\IMAIL\spool\Q3543244.SMP R0 T1
07:27 18:40 SMTP-(000000CE) finished E:\IMAIL\spool\Q3543244.SMP status=3

  And all that follows are repeated processing and requeuing;
07:27 19:48 SMTP-(000000CE) E:\IMAIL\spool\Q3543244.SMP
07:27 19:48 SMTP-(000000CE) processing E:\IMAIL\spool\Q3543244.SMP
07:27 19:48 SMTP-(000000CE) requeuing E:\IMAIL\spool\Q3543244.SMP R0 T4
07:27 19:48 SMTP-(000000CE) finished E:\IMAIL\spool\Q3543244.SMP status=3

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Kirk
