Under the "SMTP security tab" you should have on the right side a check box that says "Disable SMTP "auth" reporting" Unchecking this box will enable smtp authorization. Keep in mind, however, that not all email clients support smtp auth. Outlook does, but Netscape Messenger doesn't. And if you enable it people without email clients that can support will be unable to send mail on your system.

There is a Web page http://www.ipswitch.com/products/IMail_Server/nospam.html saying that Imail version 5.0 can "Authenticate users before allowing them to send mail through your server (SMTP AUTH)." Can any one tell me how to do it? I went to "Control panel | Imail server | SMTP Security tab" but found no such feature. I will appreciate any help from you.
