You can set an external SMTP server and it will not affect delivery
from any method. Stole this from the Help in the Imail Control
Panel.
Remote Mail Gateway Host.
Defines the name of another host to send mail to for further delivery
when that mail cannot be delivered directly to the destination host.
This can also be used in conjunction with the Send all remote mail
through gateway option to force delivery of mail through the gateway
host. Since IMail Server should be able to reach all hosts directly, this
field should normally be left blank.

would perform reverse lookups. If anybody is running a mixture of Unix and
NT boxes, could you use a program such as sendmail for your SMTP only and
have it do reverse DNS? How would this effect the web based email? Any
