If I understood, "you" are a hosting company.

You can deny relay, and ask your customers to use their IPS's SMTP.

You they use yours, their messages do this way:

customer's modem >> ISP >> Internet >> Your SMTP >> Destination

And if your customers use the ISP SMTP:


customer's modem >> ISP >> Destination

Less hops, less traffic, more speed.
