(v5.05) I just had confirmed from ipswitch support (see below) that we are stuck between an 'open relay' and no forwarding at all. I have specified SMTP relay options for addresses private addresses only This allows messages both in and out fine. Certain users have been (happily) forwarding copies of their mail using '.,username' in mail forwarding setting. This doesn't appear to work with the new relay setting. Forwarding on per mailbox basis is absolutely necessary.
