As I showed earlier, I point the relayed domains' MX records (for machines that I know are never reachable, ie offline or behind walls) at my Imail machine:

1domain2relay.com      IN             MX     1    imail.relayinghost.com
2domain2relay.com      IN             MX     1    imail.relayinghost.com
3domain2relay.com      IN             MX     1    imail.relayinghost.com

It works for me.  There are multiple methods to disrobe a felix.

Alternatively, putting the domain2relay.com as the primary MX host works fine, but when such a host is permanently unreachable, I think it's 'polite'  to senders not to send their their MTA's on that wild goose chase (ie, they will try to deliver there and fail, so what's them point?), so my MX appraoch just lets them dump the mail immediately on my Imail host.

so what should be the proper input for the MX Records?
