Right at this moment I do not have a secondary backup. I am
looking in to putting one back in shortly. Basically any MTA that
will support 'store and forward' properly will work for a secondary.
Keep in mind that your secondary server is subject to the same
relay and security problems that your primary is. So using a cheap
alternative may prove costly if not configured properly.
Your secondary server in this case would not be the server users
would authenticate to anyway. So You could actually tighten
the security settings to only accept mail bound for your server.
I am looking at putting a secondary in a remote location however.
At present the only time the secondary would do me any good
would be in the event that our entire network lost connectivity.
