I'll be putting up a web page this week about a little snippet of a Perl
script I'm finishing up to extract "traffic" lines from the Imail activity
logs.
The PERL snippet outputs traffic lines into tab-delimited records suitable
for no-brainer importing into just about any database. Once in the
database, you could whip up a query which would give the list of inactive
users keying off the date field for a user sending SMTP msgs or POP logons.
I would really like some sort of grouping feature or a administrative
>comment field or something associated with e-mail accounts.
Wouldn't this be better handled in an ODBC-based acctng pkg like Emerald?
