[IMail Forum] Possible Web Messaging problem?

    I'm having a peculiar problem - apparently when I check my email using
web messaging, the list of read messages is reset.  So whenever I check my
mail by web, my workstation at work, which is set to check the
account but leave messages on the server, downloads all my mail again, and
when I come in to work, I have 50-100 duplicate messages.  

Is it possible to make this behavior optional?
