I thought that too, zip it all up, but getting the guys to use stuffit ...The problem is sending messages internally, from a web browser on a mac hereto be read via another web browser on mac, nothing else is involved.I can do it on the one mac - compose using web messaging, attach an eps file and send it to myself. On receipt, web messaging thinks the attachment is a text file.
The reason I ask is that we get all kinds of attachments in our prepress area (Mac workstations) that don't open well UNTIL we use Disktop to change the file type attributes to proper file types. Specifically we have to shift-click on the attachment link in Netscape mail to force a file-save-as dialog box, then save it somewhere, then highlight the file in Disktop and change the file type/creator attributes to whatever a similar file that works says.
