Why do you have the computer set to leave messages on the server? Why don't
you clear the server and let the message storage be in your computer. Web
messaging will not remove the messages from the server unless you
specifically ask it to delete them in the web messaging program.
I have instructed all of our clients to have their computers clear my server
after they download their email into their computer to avoid just this sort
of problem.
