I've sent two messages to IPSwitch support about this in the past week with no
reply. Can anyone here help me? Here's the situation... We, like others,
previously had problems with IMail causing server hangs. Once I installed the
5.06 patch, things were great! No problems for three consecutive weeks. After
reading the messages on this list about 5.07 I decided to try to "improve on a
good thing", so I installed IMail 5.07. A couple of days later, one of my users
tried to send a message to all of our staff lists (there are 10 of them on the
system ranging in size from 50 to 200 members with a total number of users of
925). The server became non-responsive while processing this message and had to
be rebooted (just like it used to prior to 5.06). After the reboot, the IMail
log looked like this.....

10:11 10:42 SMTPD(51660140) [192.192.192.5] connect 192.192.192.5 port 3878

I expected that no one had received this message but that wasn't the case. Some
people did receive it. I don't know exactly how many or from which sites. What
was interesting to me is that when I looked at this section of the log in
Notepad, the "blank line" was actually a whole bunch of blank space which
indicates to me, some of the processing that was taking place (even though it
wasn't recorded).

What's happening since then is that we can't use any of the lists, or send a
message to more than 10 addresses without having the server hang and have to be
rebooted.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. IMail is the only app. running on this
Dell PowerEdge 6100/200 quad-processor machine with 256 meg. of RAM. sp5 was
applied prior to the 5.07 update and again after.

Thanks for your time.
