[IMail Forum] Upgrading Imail

I will be upgrading Imail from 4.06 to 5.07 this weekend.  I've read various messages on this forum that say to upgrade to 4.07 or 5.0x first and then install 5.07.  Why is this and what is the real procedure?   Thanks, Don Winsauer
