I'm setting up our Imail server to spool mail for a mailserver
that uses a dialup account and ETRN.
I've set up the addresses in the Windows HOSTS file.
I've set up the primary and secondary MX records in the DNS.
I've set the remote server to dialup and issues ETRN spiegelassoc.com
to despool mail for the domain.
All seems okay, but I still see the mail waiting in the queue and
it gets processed like mail thats not being delivered each cycle of
the queue.
1. Is this how it is supposed to work?
2. Does the Accepted mail sit in the queue and get processed each run?
3. Has my IMail server excepted the mail or is it stuck in my outbound
queue from the original message.
(I sent the test from the Imail machine that will be spooling the mail).
This is what I see in the log file:
