John,
'2919' almost fixed the UID Fetch
problem. I've noticed that the UID Fetch will still happens
occasionally -- but -- I've discovered that if you keep one message in
each IMAP folder and never delete it that you'll avoid getting any more UID
Fetch errors at all!!!!!
And what happens should you actually delete all
messages in an IMAP folder and start getting UID Fetch errors?
Just send yourself a very tiny message and move it to the offending folder and
the UID Fetch errors go away again.
At first I thought that Outlook was totally at
fault for the UID Fetch errors, but now I'm starting to wonder if there is a
tiny flaw in the IMAP folder support on the I-Mail server??
Does anyone have any similar experiences with other
IMAP clients getting the UID Fetch errors and have you arrived where I have
regarding keeping at least one message in each folder to avoid
problems?
