Thanks Dusty but the SPAM filter only does mail coming into the system as far as I can see. We already have this in operation. What I was trying to do was to be able to apply the rules to cover mail going out from our establishment aswell.

Any more Ideas welcome.

Would be the same as filtering SPAM.  See http://bbs.lynndust.com/imail/server.htm
for a fairly easy way to handle this.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Rules

I know it is possible to check incomming mail against a rules list for words in Subject, Body etc.
We are an educational establishment and use a badword list to filter out inappropriate mail getting to pupils.
What I am wanting to know is if it is possible to also subject outgoing mail to the same checks to avoid pupils sending e-mails out from schools containing certain words..

Any help would be appreciated.
