Dan,

First I'd suggest a look at the manual for more info about the Queue and the
files it contains (Appendix E). The for how IMail is configured to retry
messages, the settings in the SMTP tab (control Panel, IMail Server) in the
Queue Timer and Number of tries fields.

Mostly you would need to do some housekeeping for the .log and .txt files in
the \imail\spool dir.

If you have moved Q and D file pairs (have same name/ext after first letter),
these were messages IMail was trying to deliver. Move the pairs back to the
\imial\spool directory. Anything else is either log files or D files that
could not be delivered or returned. Delete these, unless you wish to
investigate why the message was not delivered/returned (plain text files, open
with notepad).
