We designed this utility to do global filtering for all of our domains.
The way we've got ours set up, we have one rule set which includes a
RULES.IMA and a pair of .FWD files: SPAMBOX.FWD, and VIRUSBOX.FWD. The
forwarding rules all point to a single account on our primary domain...
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
The way this is working, any spam or viruses from any domain are forwarded
to the one abuse account where they get separated into the SPAMBOX and
VIRUSBOX sub-folders.
Now, when I add a domain, or a user, I don't need to change anything...
IMFilter figures it out and propagates the files automatically so the only
time I spend on managing this anymore is spent on updating the rules.ima
file.
Of course, you might want to set yours up differently... This is just how we
do it here.
