Why not set up an alias on the server that executes a program which would
open the received email and process the information locally on the machine.
Could be as simple as a parser that puts it in the form of a .reg file that
regedit could update. (Mail enabled application)
A couple of other options:
1. Implement remote administration and use the remote registry service.
2. File copy to a share local on the target machine and have a chron job
that looks for new data and process it.
3. Variant of #2 and the mail enabled application would be to do the file
copy of the reg update and then telnet and run the update command rather
that having a chron do it.
There are some freeware/shareware apps that have some of these tools
already. Remote Explorer is one that comes to mind. I would browsw around on
