Our mail server running Imail 7.15 did not detect any viruses when the scan
took place on the server, however when the the volume was mounted from
another machine, it detected various viruses. Symantec tried to repair some
of them and quarantined the main.mbx files. When the users log in now,
their inboxes are empty and a new main.mbx file is created. Is there a way
to remerge the two mailboxes again? Shouldn't symantec leave the file alone
and try to repair it? We currently have a lot of users who are missing
their main.mbx, so when I do a restore, it copies over the new exisiting
.mbx files. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
