Hello, to me it sounds like a hardware or driver problem with the isa server or network Switch which looses packets when it opens too much connections. Maybe it is a coincidence that the problem started with the update?
First check te eventlocg from the isa server. And look if there is any problem Try to Change the cable, the Switch or the switch port. Update the NIC driver or change the nic. sometime this helps...
