It's called a nobody alias in Imail.
I think the general concensus is that with spam dictionary attacks so
prevalant, that using the nobody alias puts unnecessary pressure on your
email server.

Subject: [IMail Forum] How to default forward to a user for invalid users on
the domain ?
I am a newbie here, and I search through the support with little success so
far.
We has a sendmail configured and recently migrated to Imail Server.
We had a rule on our old server saying that all unknown/invalid emails
would
be redirected to a given email address.
So that is a email address was mispelled, somebody would receive it and
forward it to the appropriate person.
For example, if a email is sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED], then this
email (where the g is missing) would be forwarded to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] Which is allowing us not to loose any email
from
anybody as our server would accept all username.
Regards
Pascal
