Hi Mike Make sure the file attribute is not marked as read-only, it won't import as a read only file.

This is a good tool that is on the MS web site that will backup the entire PST file on a schedule that you set. On my Outlook program I have it running once every 7 days so if I were to lose my pst file I have a file that is pretty current to replace the damaged file. Hi Mike If the Outlook program is crashing at the splash screen look for and rename the following file - Outcmd.dat - this file when corrupt will stop the program from opening. Running Scanpst will not fix this issue. Reload the program will not ifx the issue either.
