Okay,  so  what  does  "blocked"  mean in your situation? POP3 clients
receive  mail sequentially, from first delivered to last delivered, in
a single thread. Unless your mail client has the ability to pre-delete
messages from the server (mine does, but many do not), you're going to
get all the mail in order, so you'll have to wait for large messages.

But perhaps you haven't explained the matter completely.
