I thought the “Relay mail for”
option only looked at the destination e-mail address and if it is local, relays
the message. No? From:

On Behalf Of Archer Koch Use the "Relay mail for" option
and specify the local IP addresses there. If you have users who are
presently authenticating, they will continue doing so unaffected by the IP
address restrictions. Archer From:

On Behalf Of Robby Booth I have Imail installed on a webserver and I want to be able
to relay all mail that originates from that server (without having to open mail
relay for the entire world to use). Is there a way to relay mail only for requests originating
from that server? I tried “Relay mail for localhosts” but that
didn’t work. I also tried editing the Accept.txt file. I added the
external ip address, internal ip address, and 127.0.0.1 – so it looked
like this: [external_ip] 192.168.1.1 127.0.0.1 |
