Sending?  No.  IMAP  is  used  for  mailbox  retrieval/management, not
sending.

All  that  SpamSoap  can  tell you are their source SMTP addresses (to
which you should already be limiting your incoming SMTP traffic to, or
else  you're defeating the premise of using outsourced services). This
doesn't  tell  you  where  your  IMAP clients are connecting from. If,
however,  you could restrict your IMAP exposure in this way, of course
you'd mitigate your exposure to hackers, by definition.

And  might I ask that people stop top-posting? This thread was getting
