Just because ya'll are about the smartest bunch of folks I know. (And
because Google and Microsoft weren't a lot of help)
My boss sent a calendar invitation to recip1, recip2, recip3, and recip4
at 9:03am. This message delivered to all 4 recipients successfully. At
9:44am, he got an NDR stating the following:
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject: Clarksville
Sent: 9/20/2005 9:03 AM
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
Eforms Admin (Industries - Augusta) on 9/20/2005 9:44 AM
There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's
email server. Please contact your system administrator.
<boral-mail1.bricksnt.boral.com #5.5.0 smtp;554 this message
has already been here>
When I looked at the log file from Exchange, it is showing the to
address is Eforms Admin, and the from address is my boss. But I looked
at the original message he sent, and he did not include Eforms Admin.
The only thing I see strange is that Eforms Admin is a very old account
in AD, and points to a non-existant Exchange Server for it's mailbox.
However, that does not explain why the email would have went to that
address to begin with.
Any suggestions appreciated.
