No he won't get the error checking his mail it's only shows when sending. Did you check to make sure that the SMTP port was not changed from 25.

However, if he tries to email out, he gets a 550. It shouldn't be an ID or password issue, because he can check mail (which requires user authentication). Has anyone seen this? Any suggestions?
