You can't stop it completely, as has been stated, since that breaks SMTP. You CAN stop sending bounces to the header email addresses, but this would be in your spam and/or virus filtering package. You must configure those to not bounce any mails or send any notifications to the sender of the email, since these will most likely send to the header from address. Imail, by default I believe, does not send out bounces to the header from address (Unless it is in Imail's spam filtering setup to do so. We don't use the Imail spam filtering and have it all disabled, so I don't know about that). The key is that after Imail has accepted the message through the SMTP conversation, it is not safe to bounce that message. Bounces are bad, rejections are good.
