We've installed IMail on Windows native active/passive clusters since NT EE and haven't had many issues to speak of. Set up the IMail daemons and Registry areas as generic resources. If you're careful, it's possible to create active/active clusters, if you have multiple domains, where each cluster partner serves a subset of those domains until there's a failover, in which case the active server takes over all domains (the MX algorithm is essential to this; it's not all in the cluster itself). All that said, we've been using Double-Take instead since last year and have been much more impressed. . . it's a fixed software cost vs. higher hardware costs to match the HCL, and DT allows easy geoclustering. --Sandy ------------------------------------ Sanford Whiteman, Chief Technologist Broadleaf Systems, a division of Cypress Integrated Systems, Inc. e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] SpamAssassin plugs into Declude! http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/SPAMC32/download/release/ Defuse Dictionary Attacks: Turn Exchange or IMail mailboxes into IMail Aliases! http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/exchange2aliases/download/release/ http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/ldap2aliases/download/release/ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
