The answer is, "It depends." If the forward action has a period (.) in
it, that indicates that a copy is to be delivered locally, as well as
to other addresses. In other words:
.,[EMAIL PROTECTED]
will leave a copy in the mailbox as well as forwarding. This is all in
the manual and archives.
