guys:
Currently we are
down here now deploying a new email system, wich will have more than
300.000 Parent Domain Email accounts, with more than 1.000 Hosting
Domains.
The plan is for a
nationwide platform, currently the budget is not pretty
tied.
What do you guys
suggest for :
Email Network Design
:
How much servers
needed ?, how much MX, how much SMTP , how much SMTP PROXYS, what Email storage
method do you think is best ?
So far we are
thinking of all at a FreeBSD servers, and using all opensource
software.
Also, we think like
4 MX´s, for the front, 1 LoadBalance Switch to handle IMAP querys, 4 Independent
storage servers for replication, and so on.
So have you guys
implemented something like this lately ?
