We upgraded our server to Imail 2006.01 and now have several reports from users that receive the following error message in Outlook or Outlook Express:
 
The TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly terminated by the server. (Account: <account name>, POP3 Server: <server name> Error Number:0x800ccc0f
 
I could explain one or two of these reports as problems on the client end, but when you get a bunch of reports of the same error after the upgrade the logical conclusion is that there's a problem with the upgrade.
 
People get the above error message, but then try a few minutes later and everything works fine.
 
The server is fairly high powered and is normally at a very low load.
 
Any ideas?
