I use a Barracuda 300 here as well – it does a great job stopping spam and/or viruses at the gateway.  I also use mxGard on the IMail box itself – sort of a belt and suspenders approach.  Barracuda covers us from external issues, mxGard catches any internal issues (like salesmen walking in from 3 months in the field and plugging a laptop into my network.)

For what it is worth, I have demo’d Declude in the past, and was very impressed with the product and Sandy offers great support.  Same for Dave and MxGard -

There are a great many products out there but I would be hard-pressed to find any that integrate with IMail better than Declude and mxGard.

Of course, I’m very happy with my ‘cuda as well!

Hi

We use a Barracuda 300 which for the money has been the best investment I have made for the company.  If you can't afford a Barracuda then Declude is a good alternative, but I found the learning curve on Declude to be steep.

Best Regards,
James Robb

Which Antispam programs are worth recommending to use with IMail? The IMail antispam filters are not working good enough.

Thank You;

Eddie
