I, with Tech Support figured out the problem. Thanks again to all of those
who helped on this issue with 2006.01

CRAM-MD5 is buggy. You have to disable this in Eudora in order for Auth to
work. I thought in version 7 they had this fixed, but something changed
from 8.22 to 2006.01. I am calling my Eudora clients now to have them add
the "fix" in their Eudora.ini files.

1.  Close Eudora.
2. Open your Eudora.ini file. (Usually in for Application\Qualcomm\Eudora
folder.)
3. Under the Settings section add a new line that reads
SMTPAuthBanished=CRAM-MD5
4. Save and close the Eudora.ini file.

Try to send mail again via SMTP Auth and you are ok.

Regards,

Travis
