Hi Kevin,

figes, aha ;-)

If you like, you can have a few Domains from my server, including the registry
file to import.

It's against our laws, but technical evolution is more important.

Mostly the messages are in german and their are using umlauts.

It's about 600 MB. How to transport?

hi martin,

sorry about that. figes is french, italian, german, english and spanish - it's
a term used in the translation world;-)

would you be up for sending along some public contacts from the old web
messaging? we want to try out the migration of real data. Also, if you have a
mailbox with lots of FIGES messages (even just german and english would be
good), that would be helpful.

thoughts?

bye for now,

kg

Hello Martin,

Thanks for the comments. I'm collecting that information and will get back to
you.

We're currently running some testing of FIGES for IMail 2006. We're looking
for some shared and public contacts from the OLD web messaging (the cgi based
ones) and a few mailboxes with lots of FIGES based language emails.

Would it be possible to zip up and send along some? Also, we have started
translation work and can send you the first draft next week if you wish to
check them out.

Bye for now,

kg

Hi Kevin,

Your question popups a new question: How many simultaneous web users IMail
supports, what is the "official" number? With how many user did your tekkies
made a load test?

hi matrosity,

a few questions.

how many concurrent web users are typically accessing and are you running
2006.01? the specs on your box should be more than adequate for lots of
simultaneous web users.

also, off-forum, would it be possible to provide a login?

bye for now,

We're running 2003 with dual 3.06 GHz with 2 GB ram and iClient is incredibly
slow. Even after restarting w3svc it is slow. Processors are not maxed by any
means so there doesn't appear to be a reason for this. I've always thought it
was slow but now we're getting complaints and suggestions to go back to the old
version.
