Exactly, this is what a like to know ;-) > Does it do that on it's own or is there somewhere that I can set it that it > will aways use 100% of the CPU? You can't get them more or less ressources. Of course it's also a matter how the programmer od the code deals with the multithreading. I made the experience, that if the QueueManager is eating CPU Power, everything else on this server will slow down. If i open an explorer, it needs 10 seconds or more. The system is completely under load. Even the Fans are turning faster ;-) Today we received "slow performance alarms" from the monitoring software. > I am running IMail 8.12 with anti-virus. I think your system is the absolutely minmum. I never would use a such entry-level PC for a mail server even for only 20 Accounts. Spitting out your newsletter to 10K persons would stress this poor PC heavily. I'm sure, that your memory situation will change ;-) Also the celeron will heat up a bit. Watch the task manager at this time your server is sending your newsletter. In this case i would setup the system, that not too many newsletter will be send simultaniously (I hate to write this word). ============================================ Am Freitag, 13.
